What are the benefits

This programme is designed for youth enabling them to achieve NCEA level 2 in an automotive industry context.

It is an ideal starting point for those who want to pursue a career as an automotive mechanic or technician. There are great job opportunities in the Automotive industry in NZ.

This is a full-time programme which generally runs Monday to Friday, helping to prepare you for entering the workforce or further studies once you graduate.

Eligible youth learners will have access to additional support like travel allowances, safety gear and uniforms.

The purpose of this programme is to help students gain NCEA Level 2 alongside foundation automotive engineering skills, which will open doors to entry-level jobs in the trade, further study at level 3 (e.g., the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering Level 3). or an apprenticeship.
