Skills Update Christchuch Campus promotes a whanau atmosphere with strong focus on student achievement. Communal study and social spaces seek to further support and encourage student wellbeing. Conveniently located along a main bus route linking back to Christchurch Bus Interchange, the campus is minutes away from the retail hubs of Opawa, St Martins, Woolston, and Ferry Road. It is also a short drive away from the bustling Linwood Shopping Centre, and a mere 9-minute walk from boutique shopping emporium, The Tannery. For busy students who haven’t had time for meals, our student cafeteria is well stocked with light meals such as noodles, soups, and bread. It is furnished with an oven and microwave should students need to heat their meals. At the same time, students can help themselves to free tea, coffee, and milo, available throughout the day. Other amenities include two shower facilities and free parking on site with plenty of other parking options close by. A notable campus feature, the fully equipped workshop enables Electrical Engineering students to demonstrate classroom skills and knowledge in real work settings.
