Farzbod Taefi is the director and founder of Skills Update Training and Education Group.
He was the National Commissioner for the Boy Scouts Association in Samoa for eight years, before leaving to embark on a new project in New Zealand in 1990. Farzbod envisioned a training institute that would help young people to learn useful skills and enter meaningful employment.
Prior to co-founding Skills Update Training Institute 27 years ago, Sonbol was working as a tutor at Auckland Institute of Technology (now known as AUT University).
Aside from Education, Sonbol is also passionate with the performing arts being a professional vocalist, singer, composer, and producer of several albums of original music

Mark has 13+ years of academic leadership experience in the tertiary education sector and has worked as a lecturer, programme manager and director in a number of universities, polytechnics and community colleges, both in New Zealand and overseas.
He holds a Master of Educational Leadership (distinction) from Auckland University of Technology, a Master of Management and Bachelor of Science from University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor (Honours) degree in International Business Management from Bournemouth University in the UK.
