Fees and Funding
Most of our programmes are funded by the Tertiary Education Commission. Programmes at level 1 and 2 are free for eligible learners. Some level 3 programme attract fees but there are numerous options available to study fees free.
Youth Guarantee Funding
This is for NZ Citizens or Permanent residents who did not achieve NCEA Level 2 or any other qualification at level 2. The fund is for learners aged between 16 and 19 at the time of commencement of study. Learners who meet the prescribed criteria can enrol into a level 1 or 2 qualification for free. They also might be eligible for travel allowances. Some limited level 3 spaces are also available for learners under this funding.
Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund
Our level 3 Health and Wellbeing , Electrical Engineering, Carpentry and Horticulture programmes qualify for the Targeted Training and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF; also known as free trades training). This fund will cover fees from 1 July 2020 until 31 December 2022 and will be paid directly by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). It is targeted towards industry skill needs where demand from employers for these skills will continue to be strong, or is expected to grow, during New Zealand’s recovery period from the impacts of COVID-19.
In simple terms, if you are a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident you will qualify to study these programmes Fees Free. Just contact our team and we will do the needful.
Government Fees-free Scheme
NZ citizens or Permanent Residents above 16 years old can be eligible for the Government Fees-free Scheme for Level 3 and above. Some are directly eligible, and we will take care of the process. Some programmes might need an application process to confirm eligibility.

Level 1 and 2 Qualifications for Adults
There are limited spaces available for adult learners who meet the required criteria to study at level 1 and 2. If you meet the criteria you will be eligible to study for free.
Skills Update provides limited number of tuition fees scholarships to learners who are committed to complete the programme. This scholarship is available for learners who are not eligible for the Fees Free Scheme or any other scholarships. The scholarship is subject to learner agreeing to and maintaining satisfactory academic progress and approval from us.
