Course Details
This course is an introductory Te Reo Māori course, designed to be the start of your Te Reo Māori journey.
Do you want to learn the basics to enable you to hold an everyday conversation in Māori? Do you want to gain confidence in Te Reo and improve your pronunciation and understanding? Have you been meaning to do a course but haven’t gotten around to it? Come along and learn for free, with no assessments.
This is an Adult in Community Education (ACE) programme funded by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). It is not an enrolment into an NZQA accredited programme leading to a New Zealand qualification.
The purpose of ACE Funding is to provide adults with:
· Foundation skills
· Pathways into other learning opportunities that meet community learning needs
· This course is highly practical and has no assessments
· Suitable for beginners. Start with the basics and learn how to hold everyday conversation in Te Reo
· Build your knowledge in Te Ao Māori and how to apply it in your workplace and home life
