Distribution

The selection of distribution programmes cover the essential knowledge and skills required for the safe processing and handling of goods in a distribution facility, to direct others; problem solve; record and monitor movement and maintain quality of stock; demonstrate knowledge of storekeeping operations; and apply health and safety practices.  It also covers topics related to first aid, literacy, safe operation of goods moving equipment, stock control, storage of dangerous goods, and customer service skills.

  • NCEA Vocational Pathways Service (Distribution) (level 2) (80 Credits)

Employment and Further Training 

These programmes provide thorough grounding enabling progress to further qualifications in distribution like:

  • National Certificate in Distribution (Level 4)
  • National Certificate in Freight Forwarding (Intermediate) (level 3)
  • National Certificate in Freight Forwarding (Advanced) (level 4)
